Hi,

I have a Toshiba Satellite A50, running Voodoo 0.8 Arch Linux.
My media keys (play, stop, next and previous) do not work. They are not initiated at any inputX devices, detected through ACPI (ie. through acpi_listen), xev or dmesg.

I believe the problem lies with toshiba_acpi module. My hotkeys worked in Ubuntu 6.06 (which I used previously), so I knew they weren't broken. After searching for a while, I found that I needed to add an additional parameter to my /etc/modprobe.conf

options toshiba_acpi hotkeys_over_acpi=1

However, when I did this, my toshiba_acpi module said that there was no such parameter. further searching found this kernel patch for the toshiba_acpi module, at the site:

https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux-source-2.6.20/+bug/77026

Can this patch please be included?

Thankyou,
mEo
