uxterm -sb -rightbar -fn -misc-fixed-medium-r-semicondensed--0-0-75-75-c-0-iso10646-1 -geometry 170x41 -j -s +sb -si -sl 10000 "$@" started deliverying a slightly different xterm layout after the last Arch update (see attachment before/after) xfontsel-xorg package is working, tried various font definitions, all are ignored both by xterm as well as uxterm. |

-misc-fixed-medium-r-semicondensed--0-0-75-75-c-0-iso10646-1 is an XLFD and has nothing to do with fontconfig, anyway.
