I'm the author of sane-airscan, and I have noticed, that dependencies of the Arch package are a bit outdated. Currently listed dependencies are the following: libsoup and sane Actual dependencies changed over time, but Arch package was not updated. Please, update dependencies as follows: - avahi (or avahi-client) - gnutls - libxml2 - libjpeg-turbo (or libjpeg) - libpng - sane Note, exact package names vary between distros, and I'm not very familiar with Arch Linux, so excuse me, if I've mistaken in the exact spelling of the name of some packages. Additional info: * package version(s) * config and/or log files etc. * link to upstream bug report, if any Steps to reproduce: |

So it no longer needs libsoup? Everything is actually covered by those 2 deps, but if libsoup needs to be dropped, gnutls and libxml2 are no longer covered.

Yes, it doesn't need libsoup anymore (starting from 0.99.12)
