DetailsInstall Arch 0.8, then a standard gnome installation. Enter the GDM Configuration dialog ; click to "theme" ; GDM grays out the dialog and freezes.
Can be restarted by /etc/rc.d/gdm restart If this has done GDM has switched to the theme ; added ArchGDM.zip to the themes and selected it, but GDM doesn't change to reflect the selection. Switch to 'Random Theme from Selected', change a couple of entries, switch back to one theme only, select a different theme, select the them you want and it works. Likely that default gdm configure file is incorrect and puts gdm dialogue into an unstable state. |

This is repeatable on install but not on reconfigure, once it's working it works properly from then on.
