Description:
Plugin scripts can be added in the directory /usr/share/smartmontools/smartd_warning.d/ (see man smartd.conf and search for "smartd_warning.d"). Since this directory is for configuration it seems like it should be under /etc (like in debian where it's under /etc/smartmontools/smartd_warning.d (see https://manpages.debian.org/buster/smartmontools/smartd.conf.5.en.html)). You might want to copy any existing files from
/usr/share/smartmontools/smartd_warning.d/ to the new directory
under /etc/ for people who are already using /usr. Or maybe just a
message on upgrade.
