PKGBUILD commit ee16dc5b5a5db0334393780c558c8ec5c4d3bf32 introduces pipewire as a dependency. a) IMHO pipewire not ready for production yet (just look at https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/pipewire/pipewire/-/issues) b) A window manager shouldn't depend on a multimedia framework (if at all, that should be a dependency of the desktop environment) Is there a way to make this dependency at least optional at run-time? Apparently only kwin_wayland actually links libpipewire. Additional info: * 5.20.0-1 Steps to reproduce: pacman -Syu |
