DetailsWhen trying to update, I saw the following:
$ pacman -Syu :: Synchronizing package databases... error: failed retrieving file 'current.db.tar.gz' from ftp-linux.cc.gatech.edu : No route to host error: could not open /var/lib/pacman/current.db.tar.gz: Empty input file: Invalid or incomplete multibyte or wide character error: failed to update current (unexpected system error) As you can see, pacman did not proceed to try other mirrors like it should have. It also doesn't look like it downloaded anything since no progressbar is shown, so I'm not sure what to make of the error. |

Reason for closing: Deferred
Additional comments about closing: Old bugs are old. Hard to see if this is relevant anymore, but the wide char error message seems to indicate it might have been something different.
