But for example there's one present in Debian, which I assume we could easily include, and/or bug upstream to include. Gah, squashfs-tools 4.4-2. Being able to edit a bug I made would be very helpful.

If upstream doesn't provide one, you should really be talking to them. A downstream man page is a bad idea.
