Description:

Pulseaudio crashes quite often since I upgraded it to 13.99.2+7+g6101798c7-1. Older versions worked just fine.

Additional info:
My configuration file has 2 lines:
avoid-resampling = yes
flat-volumes = no

Steps to reproduce:
Upgrade pulseaudio to 13.99.2+7+g6101798c7-1.

Additional comments about closing:  Old and stale. If still an issue with latest pkgs, please post a backtrace with debug info. Arch has support for debuginfod these days.

I have the same issue. I also have flat-volumes = no and avoid-resampling = yes set.

pulseaudio 13.99.3-1 still crashes:

I updated to 14.0 - I also see these crashes. It tends to always happen overnight when my desktop is idle and about to go into suspend state, less so with active use in the daytime from what I can tell.

Try setting "enable-memfd = no" in /etc/pulse/client.conf as workaround
