Description:

The package includes some python files at /usr/share/gdb/python/gdb but does not include the corresponding 'compiled' '.pyc. Thus these will be generated by the python interpreter on first run and left behind after package uninstall.

A workaround - create a file /root/.gdbearlyinit (or under any other account that may create .pyc files) with

set python dont-write-bytecode on
