Description:
Any application using Qt 5.15.1 crashes instantly with either SIGTRAP or SIGSEGV when debugged with gdb, due to this upstream bug: https://bugreports.qt.io/browse/QTBUG-86319 A two-line fix has been committed and will be in Qt 5.15.2: https://codereview.qt-project.org/gitweb?p=qt/qtbase.git;a=patch;h=a82032351c921c3d5d57122aca57b47f83f9b9d1 It would be helpful if the Arch package could backport this fix, as the 5.15.2 release isn't expected for at least a couple of months and this is very inconvenient when developing or debugging. (someone else previously reported this against gdb as https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/68001, which is closed since it's not a gdb bug) |
