The docs can be generated with python3 using packages from Debian [1]. PKGBUILD.diff applies the patches from Debian. Builds the modules in build which runs 2to3 to generate the python3 module. That module can then be added to PYTHONPATH so the python3 version is used. Also added --optimize=1 to generate .pyc files and droped --prefix=/usr which had no apparent effect. As python2-urllib3 now appears to also work with python-sphinx this would allow python2-sphinx to be dropped.
