nvme drives can be passed through to a kvm with vfio-pci. if there isn't a particular reason for not building the nvme driver as module, doing so can allow a drive to be bound to vfio-pci upon the early loading of it (so that no unbind/new_id sysfs procedures are required after booting) Additional info: * package version(s) * config and/or log files etc. * link to upstream bug report, if any Steps to reproduce: |
