DetailsDescription:
I'm a bit confused by this myself because there doesn't appear to be consistent information from nvidia. Looking at https://www.nvidia.com/download/driverResults.aspx/163522/en-us Shows 455 is **not** BETA but only lists 2 cards in the supported list. If I manually search for a non 30 series card, e.g. 16 series it shows 455 as being BETA and the previous 450 as being stable. I can't link to the search results but have attached a picture of what it's currently showing for me. The driver probably works for non 30 cards but nvidia still considers it a BETA release for them, no entirely sure what the arch policy is here. I would expect the arch nvidia package to be giving me the latest stable driver for my card, which it currently isn't but if you've got a 30 series it is. |
