DetailsDescription:
Last night's Nvidia upgrade caused HDMI connected monitor to require re-plugging the cable each time the monitor is powered off. Yesterday I had these upgrades: [ALPM] upgraded nvidia-utils (450.66-1 -> 455.23.04-1) [ALPM-SCRIPTLET] If you run into trouble with CUDA not being available, run nvidia-modprobe first. [ALPM] upgraded vulkan-icd-loader (1.2.151-1 -> 1.2.153-2) [ALPM] upgraded fluidsynth (2.1.4-1 -> 2.1.5-1) [ALPM] upgraded haskell-commonmark-pandoc (0.2.0.0-13 -> 0.2.0.1-1) [ALPM] upgraded haskell-texmath (0.12.0.2-80 -> 0.12.0.3-1) [ALPM] upgraded lib32-nvidia-utils (450.66-1 -> 455.23.04-1) [ALPM] upgraded lib32-vulkan-icd-loader (1.2.151-1 -> 1.2.153-2) [ALPM] upgraded libxnvctrl (450.66-1 -> 455.23.04-1) [ALPM] upgraded nvidia (450.66-22 -> 455.23.04-1) [ALPM] upgraded nvidia-settings (450.66-1 -> 455.23.04-1) [ALPM] upgraded opencl-nvidia (450.66-1 -> 455.23.04-1) And I'm on latest, stable archlinux. Steps to reproduce: Own a nvidia 1050 ti. Have a monitor connected via the hdmi port. Each time the monitored is powered on, the monitor reports "no signal" until you disconnect the HDMI cable and reconnect it. This report might be pre-mature, as I've only encountered the issue and not yet tried old packages. By tomorrow night I'll try downgrading the nvidia packages and see if that fixes it. |

Reason for closing: Upstream
Additional comments about closing: In any case, please report this upstream. This is likely a driver issue and the nvidia driver is a binary blob we don't even compile.
