Since root 6.22 PyROOT was overhauled. There is an option for installing a legacy PyROOT bindings alongside new cppyy based PyROOT, when compiled with -Dpyroot_legacy=ON . Adding this to package would be a good idea, since lack of those few files require multi hour compiling of whole root. `import ROOT` works for me - PyROOT being overhauled is upstream decision. What is the problem here?
