Package source is unavailable, URL in the package returns what appears to be a domain parking page. I included both packages as they are hosted by the same project. I believe the two packages could be dropped as the functionality is provided by nss-pam-ldapd. Additional info: * nss_ldap 265-7 * pam_ldap 186-6 Steps to reproduce: Attempt to build either package. |

You don't want to load libldap in every process on the system. That's why nss-pam-ldapd implemented it with a standalone daemon that does the ldap operations.
