DetailsAfter the upgrade to gnome-shell and mutter 3.36.6 it is no longer possible to enter combined characters (like `+a for à) in gnome shell popup text or the gdm password widgets. Additionally characters clicked on the on-screen keyboard (which was a possible workaround for similar issues in the past) are ignored. Downgrading to gnome-shell and mutter 3.36.5 fixes this.
