DetailsDescription:
There is a bug in the current Anjuta package. When creating a Gtk+ project and are closing the project and want to reopen it and open .c files Anjuta hangs forever. Creating console projects and trying to open files after closing and then opening the project works as expected. I couldn't find anything about this bug upstream. Since I worked a lot with Anjuta it worked some day. But I don't know which version it was at that time I worked on Gtk+ code using Anjuta. I have not tested any other Linux distribution but all my Arch installations have this bug. Additional info: * Package version: anjuta 3.34.0-4 Steps to reproduce: * Open Anjuta * Create a Gtk+ project * Close the project * Close Anjuta * Open Anjuta * Open the project * Try to open a .c file in the project = Anjuta hangs forever |

I downgraded anjuta and libanjuta to version 3.28.0-5 from https://archive.archlinux.org/ and have the same issue there. Afterwards I downgraded to version 3.28.0-4 but same behavior.
Now I wonder what happens because, so far as I remember I have last year made some Gtk+ stuff using Anjuta. Not sure if I used Arch for that but I do nearly 99% of my work using Arch.
I executed the following commands everytime before starting the downgraded version of Anjuta.
rm -rf ~/.cache/anjuta
rm -rf ~/.config/anjuta
So maybe it is a "makedepends" package of Anjuta that is broken or this version is completely broken by itself.
On the website http://anjuta.org/ the most stable version is 3.18.2. I removed libanjuta and anjuta from my system and tried to build version 3.18.2 but this failed with a compile error. I used the "./configure" and "sed" command from https://git.archlinux.org/svntogit/packages.git/tree/anjuta/trunk/PKGBUILD build() function to configure the package before executing "make". Even just running "./configure --prefix=/usr" && "make" failed. I think I need to build "older" versions of the "makedepends" but that would become a horrible task because of other packages depend on these depends too.
