Xdmcp is not working for me in GDM. My other arch system running KDM works out of the box just by enabling the xdmcp option, i would expect GDM to behave similarly. I tried adding the needed config files, and even installing XDM, and copying all its config files into the GDM directory, but must've been missing something because I cannot get xdmcp working under GDM...

Hmm, never had to copy any XDM configuration files to get gdm working. Having this:

[xdmcp]
Enable=true

in /opt/gnome/etc/gdm/custom.conf is enough and makes XDMCP working.

I do have that block in my custom.conf file as well. Just to be clear, I can connect to KDMs XDMCP broadcast with GDM, but GDM does not seem to be broadcasting itself as from other systems I don't find my desktop running GDM to be able to login remotely..
