Details`fdisk -l` and `lsblk` commands only show the disk `/dev/sda` and its partitions `/dev/sdaX` (X=number)
And the NVME SSD cannot be detected at all, which prevents the whole installation process from going on. I am using a Dell Inspiron 5575. Also tried `nvme list` command but the list is completely empty, without showing any NVME devices. Apologies for unable to take screenshots in the live USB environment. Please refer to https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=257375 It seems that a lot of people experience the same bug. |

Reason for closing: Not a bug
Additional comments about closing: Not an archiso bug, but a hardware specific problem with the kernel in use on install medium 2020.08.01.
Building an image from scratch fixes this problem.

Please note, that this is not a (direct) archiso issue, but an issue with the kernel in use in the install medium 2020.08.01 (and depends largely on the hardware in use - I have two different machines with NVME drives that work fine).
As the fix (for your hardware) would be to build an installation medium [1] yourself and boot from it I will close this ticket.
