Description:
I did fresh install by following official wiki, then I install kde plasma. Now it shows black screen with cursor after entering password on login screen. It doesn't show KDE splash or desktop. The issue gets fixed if I pass nomodeset to kernel cmdline. This issue is on arch based distros. On other distros such as ubuntu or Debian based, KDE works fine. This issue is fixed if I boot with LTS Kernel instead of latest kernel. However if I boot with latest kernel on other distros, they don't give such issue.

Additional info:
I tried various solutions from Google, other wikis and forums. Also tried solutions suggested in arch telegram group. Still the issue is same.
Graphics:- Intel integrated graphics (on Intel celeron). No external or other graphics card attsched.

Steps to reproduce:
Fresh install and then normal boot

Try to boot up just normal, login (+wait 1-2 minutes) and press Alt+Shift+F12. That will toggle compositing off/on.

Also it would be good to know:
lspci -nnk | grep "VGA\|'Kern'\|3D\|Display" -A2
^ your videohardware

and
glxinfo | grep OpenGL
^ your mesa / OpenGL versions (mostly to see if you run on at least 2.x, and or iris(gallium) capable hardware)

+ This will most likely marked as upstream bug. But lets try to find out what upstream is :o)
