Description:

net-snmp below version 5.8-11 floods the logs with:

ipaddress_linux: could not open /proc/net/if_inet6: No such file or directory

if you have IPv6 disabled. You can expect GBs of this line in your snmpd.log

* config and/or log files etc.
not dependant on any config, just disable IPv6

Steps to reproduce:
Disable IPv6 and see your log continously grow.
