With Picard 2.4 two additional dependencies should be added to the PKGBUILD:

Required: python-dateutil
Optional: python-markdown (for proper rendering of the scripting inline documentation)

Thanks! I've just fixed that with the update to 2.4.1.

While you are here, may I ask if there is any particular reason you stopped signing the release tags?

Thanks for the update and sorry for the unsigned release tags.

That was my fault kind of. I was aware of it when tagging the release, but had no easy access to my keys at the moment. I'll make sure to return to signed release tags for the next version.
