Description:
After upgrading to testing/linux 5.8.arch1-1 I could no longer connect to my Bluetooth headphones (Samsung Galaxy Buds). Trying to connect causes it to connect, then bluetoothd dumps core after segfaulting. Trying to suspend my system after doing this doesn't suspend it: "systemd-sleep[35117]: Failed to suspend system. System resumed again: Device or resource busy"
After reverting to core/linux 5.7.12.arch1-1 everything is working properly again.

Additional info:
* package version(s):
* testing/linux 5.8.arch1-1
* testing/pulseaudio-bluetooth 13.99.1+67+g414644dff-1
* extra/bluez 5.54-2

Errors in system log:
* bluetoothd: <mac_of_headphones>: error updating services: Connection timed out (111)

Steps to reproduce:
1. Use system with linux < 5.8 and an Intel Wireless-ac 9260 card
2. Connect to bluetooth headphones
3. Update to linux 5.8, reboot
3. Try to connect to headphones, fails

After upgrading to 5.8.1.arch1-1 I can no longer connect to Klipsch kmc1 bluetooth speaker.
error.log reports "bluetoothd: Failed to set privacy: Rejected (0x0b)" and bluetoothd segfaults when trying to connect speaker.
Downgrading linux to 5.7.12.arch1-1 solves the issue.

Same issue here. I noticed when restarting bluetooth service this kernel error in logs that could be helpful
kernel: debugfs: File 'force_bredr_smp' in directory 'hci0' already present!

sudo systemctl restart bluetooth.service freezes the system.
