Detailsnotmuch-0.30 got new python bindings based on cffi.
As of now they don't work in archlinux: >>> import notmuch2 Traceback (most recent call last): File "<stdin>", line 1, in <module> File "/usr/lib/python3.8/site-packages/notmuch2/__init__.py", line 45, in <module> from notmuch2 import _capi ModuleNotFoundError: No module named '_cffi_backend' After installing python-cffi the import works: >>> import notmuch2 >>> notmuch should depend on python-cffi. Probably it's enough to make it optional in case the user really wants to use the new bindings. |
