DetailsCONFIG_ATALK is unset in the default Arch kernel. Please consider enabling.
I'm not surprised it's disabled since this is a vintage and infrequently used protocol (AppleTalk), however I'm working on making netatalk-ddp available again in the AUR which would allow AppleTalk servers to be used again. Without this kernel module however atalkd will not start. I did try reading the change history for the Arch kernel configs to find out if there was a specific reason (other than lack of usage) for why AppleTalk is no longer enabled, but didn't find anything. If there are no blockers, please consider re-enabling AppleTalk in a future release. |
