DetailsOpenOffice applications do not show up in the GNOME menus. The permissions on the /opt/gnome/share/applications/ooo645*.desktop files were incorrect. Changing them to 644 fixed the problem.

Out of curiousity is this the proper venue for packaging problems or would a posting in the forums be more appropriate/appreciated?
