I noticed that the blue dot tray icon that Discover uses to notify about updates does not disappear after doing `pacman -Syu` manually. I didn't think it was even supposed to, until I switched to Kubuntu at work, and in Kubuntu Discover is capable of sensing that a full system update was performed. Is this communication not implemented in the pacman Discover module, or is it a defect? pacman 5.2.2-1 discover 5.19.3-1 packagekit-qt5 1.0.2-1 |

There's no way for packagekit to know that you have updated your system with pacman. Nothing we can do about it.
