DetailsSince at least 2015 upstream deb|rpm packages use /etc/grafana as a configuration directory instead of placing grafana.ini directly in /etc/ [1]
Since at least 2017 using a folder is relevant as it hosts provisioning in addition to the grafana config [2] I propose the attached patch to: 1. Place grafana.ini in /etc/grafana/ 2. Install in package the provisioning skeletons 3. Move /etc/grafana.ini to /etc/grafana/grafana.ini That way we are closer to upstream and other distributions.
