Description:
Gnome clocks raises a notification when an alarm goes off, but no sound is heard. The relevant log on journal is: Jul 10 15:09:00 alarm gnome-clocks[4231]: utils.vala:391: Error playing sound: Invalid argument The registered bug upstream is https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gnome-clocks/-/issues/111 Which is caused by this already fixed issue in vala https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/vala/-/issues/995 So apparently all is needed is to rebuild gnome-clocks using the latest vala. Additional info: * package version(s) - Latest * config and/or log files etc. * link to upstream bug report, if any Steps to reproduce: 1 - Set an alarm a minute before it's triggered. 2 - Wait for it to go off. 3 - Notice no ringing sound. |
