Details
With chromium 60.0.3112.113-1, the package switched to a
bundled libpng because the APNG patch contained in
Archlinux's libpng caused trouble:
https://git.archlinux.org/svntogit/packages.git/commit/trunk/PKGBUILD?h=packages/chromium&id=52c7a37d2ba0a018f2b23b22483bd06c3e0459e5 That patch was recently removed in libpng 1.6.37-3 as part of https://git.archlinux.org/svntogit/packages.git/commit/trunk?h=packages/libpng&id=d4972c77c4b9b5555d229b49de3db87738818543 Thus, it might be possible (and perhaps a good idea, security-wise?) for the Chromium package to switch back to an unbundled libpng? |

Chromium 84 is going to be released in a few days, so it'll switch
to system libpng then.
