With last upgrade Today:

electron (9.0.5-1 -> 9.1.0-2)
signal-desktop (1.34.3-1 -> 1.34.3-2)

signal-desktop doesn't show up on tray anymore. And what's worse, it doesn't start on tray as it used to, given the lack of tray support. That at least while using LXQt + Fluxbox.

To confirm the lack of tray support, just launch signal-desktop upon the upgrade, and to confirm "--start-in-tray" option doesn't work anymore, just launch:

signal-desktop --start-in-tray

Reason for closing:  Not a bug

My mistake, for some weird reason the upgrade required logout + login. After doing that, now signal-desktop obeys "--start-in-tray" and does support tray. It's weird that a relaunch of X was required, since that's usually not necessary.

You can now close this as not a bug.
