Description:
Inkscape is missing a dependency package called fig2dev which generates an error after launching the app.
Log error:
Extension "XFIG Input" failed to load because a dependency was not met.

This is the bug tracker for the Arch Linux distribution, not the Manjaro project.
Inkscape works just fine in Arch Linux and does not exhibit the issue you describe.

This does still occur in inkscape 1.0-5 if fig2dev is not installed. Note that the error is actually *silently* written to ~/.config/inkscape/extension-errors.log . gimp also pops up there. I admit I do not use this package, if you think this is unnecessary to add, I have no qualms leaving this closed
