I was the person on IRC, and yep, this popped up today. In my case, I believe nvidia-utils=440.82 was installed first.
pacman shows "multilib/lib32-nvidia-utils 440.100-1 [installed: 440.82-1]" and "extra/nvidia-utils 440.100-1 [installed: 440.82-2]".
