DetailsDescription:
There is a bug in systemd-homed that was fixed in systemd but hasn't reached systemd-stable which arch package follows. Among other things it prevents users from logging into a systemd-home d home directory on an external USB device, that wasn't created on the current machine. I would like to bring this possible cherry pick backport to attention because it prevents me from logging into my regular user without resolting to systemd-git AUR package, which has it fixed because it tracks systemd repo instead of systemd-stable. Info: * package version: systemd 245.6-8 * Link to the bug report upstream: https://github.com/systemd/systemd/issues/15178 * Link to the pull request that fixed the issue: https://github.com/systemd/systemd/pull/15869 |
