Description:
I am using an actual Arch-Linux with cinnamon desktop.
fltk is needed on the system as a dependency of fldigi and dl-fldigi.
When fldigi is started, no window of the program is shown, but the program keeps running.
There are no error messages on stderr or stdout, nothing in the journal, no dump and nothing even in .xsession-errors.

I tried a new compilation of dl-fldigi without successes.

Downgrading back to fltk 1.3.5-1 fix the problem. Everything works like before.

Additional info:
* package version(s)
linux 5.7.4arch1-1
cinnamon 4.6.4-1
fltk 1.3.5-2
fldigi 4.1.13-1

* config and/or log files etc.
I regret that I can provide no further clues.

Steps to reproduce:
$fldigi

@Dieter9: Thanks for the report.

Nothing really changed in between these two pkgrels. I have merely moved out the examples again into a separate package, because people were complaining about those.
What I have removed though is the dependency on cairo (as there is none). So if your application depends on cairo and you uninstalled cairo, then it probably won't work (but more likely would crash I guess).

That being said: I have not had any issues with other dependants of fltk (e.g. lmms, giada, yoshimi), they all run fine.

Given, that fldigi is not in the official repositories I can not offer any further support for it (but I recommend using devtools to build it).
Closing: You can of course still pose your questions on the aur-general mailing list, the page for the package on the AUR or in the forums.
