Description:
while it works fine using "dconf editor" and cli commands the enable button is grayed out in gnome control center and cannot be enabled there Additional info: * package version(s) 3.22.0+72+g3fe1f12-1 Steps to reproduce: 1.go to sharing section in gnome control center 2.everything can be enabled except screen sharing |

but nothing changes when i remove or install gnome-remote-desktop
Vino doesn't work on wayland, which is why you can't enable it.

@JGC, heftig: please remove vino from the official repositories, because it's no longer maintained, and has security issues due to its outdated internal libvncserver fork:

if yes then why is it still needed for remote desktop option to appear in gnome control center
