DetailsDescription:
A dependency of package "nextcloud-client" is qtkeychain. However this is not working as expected, means the password manager does not support the function "sync client can login automatically". This is a requisite according to "Nextcloud client install manual" (https://docs.nextcloud.com/desktop/2.3/installing.html) saying: "Linux users must also have a password manager enabled, such as GNOME Keyring or KWallet, so that the sync client can login automatically." your understanding is correct and so is your conclusion: this is a duplicate of ticket #65484.
Maybe I can precise the issue; dependency on qtkeychain is insufficient, there must be a password manager like GNOME Keyring or KWallet installed for authentication w/o manual input.
