Detailsthe gpm package stores its configuration in /etc/gpm. With the new /etc/conf.d shouldn't it go there ?
And if so, the first few lines of /etc/rc.d/gpm need to be changed. If not, can the order of the first few lines in /etc/rc.d/gpm still be changed ? In so far, that FIRST /etc/gpm/gpm.conf is parsed, and AFTERWARDS /etc/rc.conf ? That way, even the gpm configuration could be kept in /etc/rc.local, if the admins wishes so. Note my more general report which I will submit shortly. |
