Patches seem to work fine in my limited testing.

Hint: libvirt-6.3.0 gained support for io_uring. If you install latest libvirt from Community-Testing you can set io_uring as I/O policy for disks in your libvirt based VM's (i.e: "threads", "native" or "io_uring")

Upstream fixes are merged as SVN rev 387364. These fixes will be available in the next package build that hopefully will happen in the next few weeks.

qemu-5.0.0-7 with this fix has been pushed to [testing]. Please try this build and report if you see any issues.
