This is one I noticed a while ago, and I'm finally getting around to working through Bugspray!

I have two repositories set up locally, on two web servers.. both running Apache, as set up in the standard configuration on Redhat 7.0 and 8.0 respectively.

In both cases, when I do a pacman -S operation requiring the download of more than a single package from a single repository, only the first package successfully downloads.. the rest give an error and the procedure fails. If I repeat the pacman -S command (up arrow in bash) until each one downloads, then everything works fine, but I only get one per repo per run.

Some subtle HTTP library issue? Does it think it's getting an HTTP 1.1 connection but it's not?

If nobody has time to deal with this, let me know and I'll try to work on figuring out the culprit on my own and post a patch. I just wondered if this is either something simple, or something that is easily fixed just not ever noticed before by anyone. Or maybe this works fine for some people, and my web servers are somehow weird?

Anyhow, so I've opened the inquiry.

Oops. Versions of of Redhat are not what I said, actually. My memory is poor, at at least one of the servers is in the office and inaccessible from here. I'll update tomorrow with the details.

However, at least ONE of the servers exhibiting this behavior (the one I can reach) is Redhat 9.0 running Apache 2.0.40.

Yes, I know. I'm slowly migrating all my boxes to Arch, but it's going to take some time. :)

Crap. I hate bugs in bug reports. The title of this one should read:

"Only first of multiple HTTP downloads from a repository succeeds"

Mmm, subject verb agreement. After all, to be a good programmer, one must first master at least the English language..
