The Arch mercurial package is still python2-based. Some time
ago it switched to Python 3 and back again, as there were
some python3-specific bugs.
If and when these bugs are no longer an issue, the Arch mercurial package should move to being Python3-based. If I'm understanding correctly, the issue below is the reason @heftig reverted the package to Python 2, and it seems to be resolved now: Initial issue: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1604486#c40 Initial fix, was reverted: https://phab.mercurial-scm.org/D8051 Subsequent fix: https://phab.mercurial-scm.org/D8076 |
