Details

samba 4.12 added a new API, smbc_readdirplus2(), which should speed up the file enumeration performance. The support for it is detected at compile-time: https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gvfs/-/merge_requests/63/diffs#diff-content-0cc1139e3347f573ae1feee5b73dbc8a8a21fcfa, so a rebuild is needed to take advantage of it.
