Description:
When sharing screen with Zoom, shared area is dimmed with gray overlay and barely readable

Additional info:

Steps to reproduce:
* Run picom (e.g. on xfce)
* Start a zoom meeting
* Share a desktop

Solution:
In /etc/xdg/picom.conf add
"name = 'cpt_frame_window'" to the shadow-exclude list.

Hi, thanks for reporting. picom in [community] has been updated to version 8. Please test if the issue is still present.

issue still occurs unless I change the conf as described above.

Actually it's not really an "issue", so it's unlikely that it will ever disappear without the config. Reason is that zoom draws a green rectangle around the shared screen area and picom adds a drop shadow to that rectangle. The config just disables the shadow an that particular rectangle.
