Description:

A regression was introduced inbetween 5.5 and 5.6 which essentially breaks programmatic usage of winepath.
winepath is ususally used to generate Windows paths at configure time of, for example, projects using GNU autoconf or libtool.
The patch for wine bug #48937 fixes that issue and makes it work properly again.
Without this patch, building (or cross compiling) certain applications does not work using winepath from wine 5.6.
Thus this is a critical issue.
