DetailsDescription:
Beginning with 1.44.1, the live share extension is no longer working when you try to connect to another user. It fails with "[ms-vsliveshare.vsliveshare]: Proposed API is only available when running out of dev or with the following command line switch: --enable-proposed-api ms-vsliveshare.vsliveshare" Since you removed the product.json file which contained the proposedAPI section, it fails very likely because of this. Looks like the proposedAPI section cannot be removed yet, as it is still needed. Official builds do not have that issue. There are tons of such failure reports on Github as many of the OSS builds have or had that problem. For example here: https://github.com/VSCodium/vscodium/issues/128 |
