DetailsThere is a bug currently that makes one of the key feature of Deja Dup not working at all: Deja Dup monitor does not autostart. Therefore, the automatic backup that should normally happen on a regular basis (for example: weekly) never actually happen. Considering that it is one of the main reason that someone would use DejaDup, this is a pretty serious issue.
I reported the issue to upstream, and upstream is supposed to have fixed the issue. Here's the complete issue thread on Gitlab: https://gitlab.gnome.org/World/deja-dup/-/issues/65 Now, it would be a matter of seeing a release of Deja Dup that provides this fix; however, it has been quite a long time since the fix has made into master, but without an official release. My request is to backport this commit temporarily in order to fix the bug while waiting for a new version of Deja Dup. I do not know when there will be a new version though. Commit: https://gitlab.gnome.org/World/deja-dup/-/commit/7c44b1eae646663ae41c22ee7309a3a57f263f08 Note: Yes, I am on Manjaro, but this issue is an issue in the application itself, not a problem from the distro. I am very sure Arch Linux users would benefit from it too. :) |

This is a bit old and stale. Still happening with latest pkgs?
