mplayer runs here fine, probably not all depends are up to date
Comment by Ondrej Jirman (megous) - Sunday, 18 March 2007, 17:00 GMT
It is caused by this recent update:

http://cvs.archlinux.org/cgi-bin/viewcvs.cgi/base/db/PKGBUILD.diff?r1=1.28&r2=1.29&cvsroot=Current&only_with_tag=CURRENT

libdb-4.4.so no longer exists after update.

Mplayer will probably need recompilation.

samba/smbclient also fail because of db, same error message.

Please update your whole system, not just some packages. mplayer and smbclient work fine here. In fact, smbclient is from the same repository you got db 4.5 from, so the problem with out-of-sync mirrors doesn't go up for smbclient.

You're right, it works now sorry. I was up-to-date as of last night but couldn't update today because of a mpd/flac problem (which now seems to be fixed). And I was using the arch mirror. Anyway, forget samba, and thanks ;-)
