I'm not able to reproduce. Works as expected.

@seblu, are you test as the same docker container?
The kernel outside of docker is
Linux d1dk09 3.10.0-862.9.1.el7.x86_64 #1 SMP Mon Jul 16 16:29:36 UTC 2018 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
And OS is CentOS 7
Does that matter?

I followed step to reproduce in your bug report.

Are you reporting CentOS issue on the Arch Linux bug tracker or did you experience that issue on your Arch?

the outside is centos. the container is Arch. After pacman -Syu, it occurs. So do you mean you can reproduce in the same centos + Arch docker?

I have test on Arch host OS. it works too.

I do not use CentOS, so testing and willing to fix is limited.

Looking at their issue, seems to not be related to Arch container, as they experience the same issue with fedora.

This BR gives some more information: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1760300
The issue is around the switch to statx and an issue in libseccomp.
Not sure, the fix should land in coreutils, moreover, we don't have issue in Arch, so supporting old CentOS version...
